The SKYWAY is the aerial cable car that extends out over the gorge and from which you get views across the valley towards the Three Sisters and on the other side the Katoomba Falls (waterfall) If you start from the main base, you can buy a one way ride, then need to walk back – say 20 – 30 minutes, or a return ride.

One aspect of the Skyway is that in the centre is a glass floor that changes from opague to clear as you make the journey and you look straight down onto the tree tops below. Wheelchair accessible with a capacity for 84 passengers, the Cableway is the steepest and largest aerial cable car in the Southern Hemisphere.
