Good News Travellers! Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Nathu La Pass Will Open Soon

A great news for the pilgrims, the hikers and travel lovers that the Indian Ministry of External Affairs on 7th of February 2017, stated that Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Nathu La Pass is restarting as confirmed by China. This route was cancelled by China last year in June 2017, which led a large number of pilgrims to change their plans for their visits. Also this change made people to use another route Lipulekh from Uttrakhand which was a way difficult for travellers.

Kailash Manas Sarovar Yatra, is  followed by four religions i.e Bon, Buddhism, Hindu and Jainism, and is considered because it is the highest freshwater body in the world and surrounded by Kailash glaciers. The round shaped lake has the circumference of 88 Km with the depth of 90 M.

India and China were locked in a 74-day military standoff at the Doklam sector in Sikkim between June and August 2017. The Doklam plateau is located near the tri-junction of India, Bhutan and China. Both Thimphu and Beijing claim it as their territory.
