A Guide To Pet Keeping
Pet is an animal kept by a person for his company, protection or entertainment. It could be a dog, cat, rabbit, birds, horse or any animal one is fond of. Pets provide various sorts of emotional benefits to its owner. It is the best company at the time of being lonely or distressed. It’s the only one who would listen patiently.
Pet keeping is a loveable but also a task of great responsibility. Pets should be kept as a member of the family and given equal care and attention, it’s only then that they would be friendly towards us. Animals can be ferocious as well, it all depends on the owner, the way he treats the pet. Love makes them calm and obeying whereas negligence and ill treatment makes them angry and irritated.
Pets should be given proper vaccination since their birth so that they do not catch any sort of disease. They are also to be protected from pest through proper treatment. Any weird behaviour or action should be consulted with the doctor and should never be neglected. A pet is a friend and taking its care is the foremost responsibility of the owner.
The food requirements of the pet should also be met so that it remains healthy and fit. There is a need for proper hygiene to be kept. This is the most important as an unhygienic environment could take a toll on the health of the people of the house as well.
Hygiene also includes giving it proper bath with appropriate products specified for it and keeping it clean. There should be a clean living area set up, and a particular area where it is fed so that it develops good habits.
It is not difficult to train pets. A little dedication can make a pet do all that his master says. They can understand each and every thing said to them. Animals love to go out and feel free. A pet keeper should take the pet for regular and routine walks. This helps to regulate their energy and also being kept indoors all the time makes them ferocious.
People develop strong bonds with their pets. At times having a pet seems to be better than having any other person as a friend. They will never betray a person by whom they have been loved and taken care of. If a person does keep a pet, it should be kept with complete care and responsibility.
