The Wisdom Of Faith Or What Any Religion Truly Means?
India is a secular country. There are people belonging to diverse religions living here, and every religion is equally respected. Everyone has the right to practice, preach and propagate one’s religion. All have the right to perform rituals and open institutes related to one’s religion. Religion is something which is completely based upon one’s faith. It is up to an individual to follow a religion or not. No one can be forced to follow or change a religion.
Having faith in god strengthens a person, a belief that he is guided, blessed and protected by the god that he worships and has trust in. People follow their religion with complete dedication and do not tolerate any nonsense being said or done to it.
Where on one hand the religion gives a positive life on the other hand there are a lot of things which are found to be weird about these religions. Though all the religions preach of having trust and faith in god, worshiping and following the teachings, and always doing good to others, still there are people who in the name of god and religion, misuse the trust of the believers and earn money. This has been made a business by many.
Such people who call themselves the descendents of god are just ordinary people who have gathered some knowledge and advertised about having the power to predict the future and free one from the pain and suffering of his life. They may provide something to be kept at home, or to be given or thrown away at a particular place, saying that by doing so all the problems would vanish, and in turn asking for a good amount of money.
There are several people who believe these frauds and spend money on such things. It is due to the foolishness of such people that there things flourish. A person does anything to get rid of his sufferings and this is what is made use by these sages.
Another thing which is weird about religions is that even when every religion teaches love and faith then why in there the need to have so many religions. People fight in the name of religion, kill and create havoc saying that they are protecting their religion, whereas there is no religion which teaches violence or asks anybody to fight and create distress.
May it be Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian, religion always teaches love, and the one who actually believes in his religion and truly follows the teachings of his god never does any such thing. Religion is followed from the heart. Any show-off like going to temples, being fooled by the sages, does not show that we love our god. A true follower is the one who preaches love, has affection for his fellow beings and is always ready to help.
God may or may not exist, but a belief can always make things better. And the belief should be to do well and get good, without our making efforts there is no one who can help us in the problems of our life, no religion or sage can do that. It is in our own hands how we decide to live.
